Halo 4?
On September 25th it was announced that there was a new Halo related game in the works. Bungie (the company that brought you Halo 1-3) also posted a teaser trailer on the website which can be found here:
Most of the trailer is cinematic and doesn't represent what the game itself will actually look like. But, there is an instance or two in the trailer that shows a street through what seems to be the visor of a 'Shock Trooper' (Shock Troopers being the soldiers dressed in black armor found in Halo 2 and 3). It is through this that the trailer gives us a certain degree of insight as to how the game could potentially look 'graphic wise' when it is completed.
I realize that this all might seem to be old news, but today there was a new element integrated into the mix.
Microsoft Game Studies (MGS) has hired Ryan Payton. Payton was the assistant producer of the award-winning game, 'Metal Gear Solid 4'. According to MGS, Payton will be working on Halo related games - one of these being the game advertised in the recent trailer. Hopefully his expertise will add yet another degree of experience to the team that has brought gamers around the world hours of fun.

More Fable 2 Cutbacks...

Recently announced today, Fable 2 will have yet another cutback to it's final product. Once again, Peter Molyneux has failed to deliver what he promises.
Earlier today, it was announced by Lionhead Studios that the Fable 2 Collectors Edition (CE) would not include certain items due to "supply chain issues". Therefore, perks such as the miniature Hobbe figure, five fate cards and the limited edition box will not be appearing in the Collectors Edition. Yet, the package will still contain bonuses such as an extra in-game dungeon, an extra weapon, Halo armor, as well as an energy sword. To compensate for the removal of certain content, the overall price of the CE will be dropped $10.
This newest development only adds to Lionhead's troubles. Earlier this week it was announced that the game would not include the coveted online co-op play with it. When a game goes "gold", it means that it is in the process of being produced and shipped to the store selling it. When Fable went gold earlier this month, it apparently wasn't ready - due to Molyneux's completion date for the game. Therefore, a patch will need to be added a couple weeks after the game is released.
This is not the first time Molyneux has had troubles will his completion date for a game.
